Happy HNW and  , misskissin...sounds like you need to relax now! There was a lot of prepping last month for our Thanksgiving, even though it was for 2 plus some takeouts for other family members!//I usually start prepping 2 days before, to give myself some free time as the celebration draws near. Have fun with the family and stay safe!

Sounds like you have good reason to be tired.  Up here, on the other side of the border, because Thanksgiving is a long-weekend, getting the food ready has turned into a bit of a 2-day thing (getting ready for Christmas dinner, too), the last few years. I bet your “everyone” is looking forward to it.  Would it be considered inappropriate to compliment the pies on their nice rack? Regardless of whether they’re “cooking” or “cooling” on it.  And, it looks like we all get a present... yay! Although I bet some part of you might go for a nice soak in the bathtub instead of a shower? If you do, and you need a companion... Hi there......i also ordered Chinese this eve...the Tso's shrimp was to die for. I will be the sous chef for my daughter today, whatever she wants to cook is fine with me. Ive done it all for 40 plus years...im through and looking forward to relaxing and FINALLY getting to watch the entire Macy parade, without having to get up and be in the kitchen. Im looking forward to a few days off from work and ordering local for small biz saturday. My faves have always been the baked mac n cheese, boiled pearl onions and sweet potato pie. Yum !! Hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving... I didn't celebrate this year, since I was alone since my family's area was all in lock down.... Now we are almost all in lock down, only essential travel. I am hoping for Christmas maybe.

Despite our governor here in Illinois issuing what edicts he could to curb our constitutional freedoms, my entire family gathered for a day of family, feasting, frolic and loud conversations! LOL But the best part for me was having grandkids draped all over me as we watched Mandilorian on the boob tube. I love my grandkids. Not a bad one in the bunch. Glad to hear you had a good one as well. Now I need to go buy some outdoor Christmas lights for the house. Lived here 40 yr and never put them up.

Very quiet day. I make my own stuffing three days before and I do stuff the turkey before cooking. I donated my 20 pound bird to a family I know that is struggling with a child's medical needs.
